手持定製劇本，就能走上頂流之路？模範司機趙天涯（曾毅 飾）與一心想要爆火的Rapper於虹（周奇 飾）陰差陽錯成為“師徒搭檔”。於虹誤以為趙天涯是MCN老板烏力吉（孫藝洲 飾）安排的真人秀NPC，誤打誤撞坐上老趙的大貨車，由此踏上從內蒙古到湖南橫跨5000公裏的“送羊”闖關之旅。這一路，大開眼界。他們偶遇曼玉山莊董事長（柳岩 飾）慷慨解圍，圍觀蒙古女孩Momo（王玉雯 飾）的絕美家族婚禮。在於虹以為自己即將走上人生巔峰之際，劇本走向卻發生了天翻地覆的轉變……
