新加坡房價一直升高，許多屋主就因為集體出售給地產開發商，而一夜間成為了百萬富翁。可是，並不是每一個人都會被金錢誘惑…
『美好苑』這個老公寓已具有35年的屋齡，有著居民們的美好回憶。一名老醫生是這裏的老村長，居民們無論是身體或心理上的疑難雜症，都會向他尋求援助。他希望代代的居民們可以繼續在『美好苑』住下去。由於新加坡的物價昂貴，一對老夫婦為了把房子留給經濟能力有限的兒子，而堅持反對出售房子。一名忠心耿耿的丈夫為了挽救婚姻，不惜一切代價，就為了反對集體出售，以保住他們的愛巢，保存他們最美好的回憶。
為了保存『美好苑』，這些居民們便與地產開發商以及支持集體出售的居民對抗。他們是否能守護家園，留住美好的回憶呢？
