《毒梟：墨西哥》續訂第3季，發布宣傳預告。迭戈·魯納因出演《星球大戰》前傳劇集不再回歸，斯科特·麥克納裏、何塞·馬利亞·亞茲皮克、阿爾貝托·阿曼、阿方索·杜薩勒等繼續參演，前兩季飾演大毒梟巴勃羅·埃斯科巴的瓦格納·馬拉這次退居幕後，將執導其中兩集。
第3季將在毒品行業全球化的90年代展開，講述Felix的帝國解體後爆發的戰爭。隨著新的獨立組織在政治動蕩和不斷升級的暴力中掙紮求生，新一代的墨西哥頭目出現了。但在這場戰爭中，真相是第一個受害者，而每一次逮捕、謀殺和摧毀隻會讓真正的勝利越來越遠。
